We’re used to watching YouTube supercar impresario Shmee150 wielding his camera phone at million-dollar hypercars.->ke177 So, seeing him delve into the details of a real-world car like this BMW M4,->ke4183 is a definite change of pace. The Shmeester recently wrapped up a supercar tour of mainland Europe, and this Austin Yellow Metallic M4, generously loaned to him by the BMW->ke178 UK press office, served as his primary transport.

It’s probably easy to get desensitized to the awesomeness of cars like the M4 when you’re constantly filming and driving Ferraris->ke252 and McLarens,->ke284 but Shmee genuinely seems to have enjoyed his time with it. He doesn’t even mind the artificial engine noise pumped through the audio system (for the record, neither do I), and cites the M4’s outstanding ability to completely change its character via its individually adjustable suspension, steering and transmission settings.

The M4 packs a new 3.0-liter, twin-turbo straight six that produces 425 horsepower and an incredible 406 pound-feet of torque accessible from as low as 1,850 rpm. It has also shed about 175 pounds over the E92 M3. In other words, it can hold its own against the exotics we’re used to seeing in Shmee’s videos.->ke278
