Oh, what it must’ve felt like to be the driver of this transport carrier. As if it wasn’t pressure enough to be carrying a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, the man in charge of this trailer is also carrying an even more important piece of cargo. More important than the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, you ask? To that, I say yes, because as you can see, just below the Veyron->ke1112 is the all-new Bugatti Chiron in all its pristine black glory.

These two videos were taken just outside Bugatti’->ke16s dealership in Monaco and as you can see, incredible care and delicacy were being practiced in taking the Chiron->ke5023 out of the trailer and into the dealership. That much is to be expected considering that the car in question here costs $2.61 million. Even the driver who got behind the wheel of the Chiron had to wear gloves before touching the steering wheel, which, by the way, had its own covers too. That’s the amount of caution people need to have while in the presence of the Chiron. Can’t say I can blame them for taking this approach.

Bugatti has announced that only 500 units will be made available, of which over 150 are already accounted for. That leaves fewer than 350 units that are still up for grabs. It might not mean much for folks like us, but I anticipate Bugatti to have its fill of Chiron orders by the time production of the 1,500-horsepower supercar begins in the company’s Molsheim production facility in France. Deliveries are expected to start in October 2016 so it won’t be long before we see all these Chirons running around and owning whatever road they travel on.

In the meantime, we have these two videos->ke278 of the Chiron being meticulously taken out of its transport trailer and parked inside the automaker’s Monaco dealership to keep us busy. It may not mean much, but for what it’s worth, I can watch these videos over and over again and still not get tired of them.
