Neil Patrick Harris wasn’t the only one showing a little skin Sunday night when he showed up on stage at the Academy Awards in only his tighty-whiteys. Cadillac->ke18 was also feeling a little revealing when it showed a commercial during the Oscars that seems to have given us our first look at the all-new 2016 Cadillac CT6.

Most of the commercial – titled "The Daring: No Regrets" – focuses on unconventional but highly successful people in various fields (including director Richard Linklater and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak) before cutting to a big, white sedan slowly rolling down a brick-paved street in New York City – as a refresher, that is Cadillac’s new home away from home. Why it matters

If this does turn out to be the CT6, it is nowhere near as gorgeous as the 2013 Elmiraj Concept, but since this was a strategically shot video with lots of fog and blur, I’ll hold my official judgment until the car is unveiled in April at the NY Auto Show.->ke226

2016 Cadillac CT6

Following recent hits like the CTS and ATS, Cadillac will be introducing its new flagship in hopes of going up against the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series. The 2016 Cadillac CT6 is expected to be a full-size, rear-drive sedan, which should offer performance features such as all-wheel drive and a powerful V-8 engine. This car will focus on luxury, so expect the finest level of materials and cabin technology. We’ll find out for sure when the 2015 New York Auto Show kicks off on April 1st.
