DAF Trucks has launched a new bodybuilder information website (www.dafbbi.com) available in ten languages. On the site there are presented a host of guidelines destined to give the bodybuilders important details about how to build on a DAF chassis.

Very often the trucks are sent to specialized body builders who install specific superstructures to make the truck perfectly fitted for its purpose. To help these bodybuilder companies, the new DAF website offers a host of detailed chassis drawings, specification sheets and bodybuilding guidelines. Bodybuilders can also consult grid views that can be used when applying striping, logos and the transport company branding to the vehicle.

Moreover, the platform offers the possibility to download CAD files from the website that can be used in bodywork development, and 3D files, created that allow the transport operator to see exactly how the finished truck will look like on the road.

The website is available in English, Dutch, Czech, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Spanish and Russian.
