Elvis Presley's 1960 Coupe DeVille DFO 301 is a rarity, as it is being offered, complete with items of Presley memorabilia, in H&H's upcoming sale at Buxton, Derbyshire on September 12/13.

The ‘King's Caddy' is believed to have covered just 76,099 miles from new. A stunning Pillarless Coupe from both Cadillac's and Elvis's golden era, the Coupe DeVille carries an estimate of $23000-$34000 and is not to be missed.

The 1960 Cadillac Deville is powered by a 6.4litre OHV V8 engine allied to Hydra-Matic transmission, and comparing to other cars of the moment it is surprisingly quick: 0-60mph in 10.3 seconds and top speeds of 110mph. The car has an output of 325bhp and 430lbft of torque on tap. Priced at $5252, the 1960 Cadillac Coupe DeVille boasted power windows and a 'Two Way' power front seat as standard. Riding on a 130-inch wheelbase, it notched up some 21,585 sales.

The 'King's' Caddy is painted in white with a salmon pink roof and pink / white upholstery, and it is described by the vendor as being in "good" condition with regard to its engine, automatic gearbox, interior trim, chassis, bodywork, paintwork and wheels / tyres.

Also featured in the sale is a 1973 V12 Jaguar E-Type 2+2 Coupe that once belonged to TV soap star Nick Berry, of EastEnders and then Heartbeat fame.
