After working on the new Rapide sports sedan and the One-77->ke3246 supercar, Aston Martin is now busy developing a facelift version for the DB9->ke210 supercar. The car will debut in October at the Paris Auto Show and will go on sale shortly after. A Volante version should follow a few months after that.

The last update the Aston Martin DB9 saw was back in 2008 for the 2009 model year. This update included an adjusted center console (to look more like the DBS->ke1479) and a few engine upgrades bringing the 450hp found in the previous model up to 470hp. Additional features provided to the 2008 upgrade were the updated 'Touchtronic 2' automatic paddle-shift transmission, suspension, interior trim and seats. This next facelift will follow along those same lines, but focusing more on the exterior. The facelift DB9 will get a DBS inspired exterior, including a new front bumper, side skirts, and a bigger rear spoiler. The new DB9 will also get new exterior colors and a few new wheel options. There may be a possibility for a few improvements under the hood, but there are no words on that yet.

We'll make sure and keep you posted on any additional information we find.
