It's been nearly half a year since Ferrari->ke252 unveiled the 458 Speciale, and the Italians->ke2094 have just launched the sports car's->ke506 online configurator, just in time for you to begin a new week with a fun-filled day.

The official configurator enables both potential customers and car fanatics to browse through an array of menus and change everything from the 458 Speciale's exterior color and livery to interior shades and materials used throughout the cockpit.

Making things more interesting is the 360-degree overview offering both day and night view, as well as the "explore the reflections" option. The latter changes the way light reflects into the paint based on different, adjustable sunlight angles.

What's more, a "Compare" button positioned on the right will enable you to split the car and configure each half separately for a better comparison between colors, features, and their contrasts.

As a brief reminder before you click past the jump for more details, the Ferrari->ke252 458 Speciale is powered by a 4.5-liter V-8 engine that churns out 596 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque via a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch transmission. The oomph enables the sport car->ke506 to sprint from naught to 62 mph in about 3 seconds and onto a top speed of 202 mph.

Nearly 200 pounds lighter than the regular 458, the Speciale is not only the most powerful 458, but also the most track-capable.

Exterior Colors

Ferrari offers no less than 26 exterior colors options for the 458 Speciale, including solid, metallic and historical shades. Among them, customers will find familiar hues such as Giallo Modena or Rosso Corsa, but special paints such as Blu Abu Dhabi, Grigio Ingrid, Rosso Dino, Verde Britsh or Azzurro California as well.

Additionally, the vehicle can be fitted with one of three available livery schemes featuring blue, black or grey stripes, or a completely black roof. The stripes and the roof can be selected together.

Wheels and Calipers

Fitted with standard, 20-inch dark gray rims, the 458 Speciale can be optionally equipped with either black or gold rollers, each offering more or less attractive contrasts depending on the exterior paint. The brake calipers, on the other hand, can be had in nine different colors. Eight of them are a perfect match to the available body shades, save for the flashy gold ones that, combined with the gold rims, are likely to become very popular in the Middle-East.

Interior Colors and Seats

The cockpit can be customized in many ways, with more than 10 leather upholstery shades. Naturally, the more sober grey and black combos are joined by colorful combinations including red, Bordeaux, and even chocolaty hues. Four types of stitching are on the table, which means there's a contrasting option for each and every interior color configuration.

Moving over to the seats customers will be pushed into while dropping the hammer, three different designs can be selected in three sizes. Customization options are taken further with optional prancing horse shapes stitched onto the headrests, different colors for the center area, and the Alcantara inner trim.
