Here's the good news: When Ferrari->ke252 promoted the new F12berlinetta->ke4223 as the most powerful Ferrari in history, they probably did so with a sly smile on their faces knowing that they're producing another supercar that will put even the F12berlinetta in its place.

The highly-anticipated successor to the Ferrari Enzo->ke389, codenamed the 'F70->ke2367', is poised to carry a 7.3-liter V12 engine that will develop in excess of 800 horsepower, and one that will receive close to 120 horsepower courtesy of a hybrid system. Do your math and that's around 60 ponies more than what the F12berlinetta is capable of.

Now for the bad news: For those expecting the Italian automaker to introduce the F70 this year - and really, all indications led to that happening - you're going to have to wait a little while longer because according to Auto News Europe, Ferrari will hold off on the debut of the supercar until either the 2013 NAIAs or the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

The automaker still has plans to debut the car this year, but that will only be limited to a private unveiling with only a handful of VIP guests in attendance. Expect to be surprised when it comes to pricing because Montezemolo said: "We want to surprise people not just in terms of price but also with the car itself."

So there you have it, folks. The hype surrounding the F70 just got more interesting with the only caveat being that we're going to have to wait a little longer to see the F70 in the flesh.
