The Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari made its debut last month, but it’s only now that we’re getting a good look at the full range of color schemes the supercar is going to offered with. We already saw what it looks like wearing Ferrari’s traditional Rosso Corsa paint finish. Now, it’s all about seeing what the Pista Piloti looks like in Argento Nurburgring (shade of white,) Nero Daytona (black,) and Blu Tour De France (blue.)

There were no shortages of open jaws and gaping mouths when Ferrari unveiled the 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari last month. Unveiled just before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari was created to celebrate the 488’s success on the race track. Unfortunately, access to the Pista is limited to customers involved in Maranello’s motorsport program. So, if you’re not involved with racing race-spec versions of the 488 GT3 or 488 GTE, you’re out of luck.

If you are a part of this exclusive group, then you are eligible to score a 488 Pista Piloti. The Italian automaker announced four different color schemes for the exclusive 488, and while it only showed a model wearing the traditional Rosso Corsa finish during its unveiling, Ferrari has announced three new color scheems

It’s hard to imagine a Ferrari looking better wearing something other than the Rosso Corsa finish, but somehow, these three color options make it seem like it does. The pearly white-looking 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari is finished in Argento Nurburgring. Meanwhile, the black 488 Pista Piloti gets the Nero Daytona paint finish while the blue 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari is dressed up in the Blu Tour De France finish. Use any of these color schemes and combine them with the other design inspirations of the exclusive 488 — it’s heavily inspired by AF Corse’s no. 51 car that Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado drove to win the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ titles — and you’re going to have a tough time choosing which of these four color schemes looks the best.

For our money, we’re picking the Blu Tour De France 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari. There’s something about a blue Ferrari that pops out. Maybe it’s because blue isn’t used on Ferraris as often as red, white, or black. Maybe it’s the way the specific blue shade in this example matches very well with the Italian Tricolore racing stripes running the length of the car. Whatever it is, the Blu Tour De France 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari manages to stand out compared to the other color schemes. That’s no small feat when, at the end of the day, all of them are still 488 Pista Piloti Ferraris.

But we’re still picking the Blu Tour De France color. It looks great, and it matches well with the other exterior and interior details of the limited edition supercar, including that small laurel that celebrates Ferrari’s WEC win on the hood of the car, the matte black S-duct, the naked carbon fiber vents and rear spoiler, and the interior with the black, perforated Alcantara with the Italian flag crowning the backrest of the seats, among other goodies.

There’s no shame in the fact that most of us will probably never get to see a 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari. But that’s ok. Even if the car is available only to those involved in Ferrari’s race car programs, that’s not going to stop us from admiring it from afar.
