The Ford GT is rare enough on its own, but Ford employees have the opportunity to make it rarer. All they have to do is buy one and avail of the “Victory” paint scheme that’s available exclusively to Ford employees. The specific finish is inspired by the colors worn by the Ford GT LM GTE racers that won their class at Daytona and Le Mans. As you might expect, the GT is teeming in red, white, and blue, looking every bit the part of an all-American supercar.

The “Victory” paint scheme isn’t for everybody, and it’s certainly not for those who prefer their Ford GT to be a little more muted in its colors. If the exclusive paint finish isn’t to your liking, you still have plenty of options to choose from, including eight standard paint colors, eight different racing stripe options, and a number of other contrast finishes. Then there’s the silver Competition Series and the Heritage Edition, the latter of which has its own three exclusive finishes.

There are enough paint finishes to choose from, and we’re not even counting the kind of interior colors you want. It’s the same story with the brake caliper colors and the set of wheels. Options abound when you have a build slot for the Ford GT. There are so many ways to go to dress up the GT, but unless you’re a Ford employee, you’re out of luck as far as the Victory paint scheme is concerned.

The good news is that we’re probably going to see a few of these babies on the road soon. Raj Nair, president of Ford North America, already has his Victory Ford GT. Bill Ford and Mark Fields already have theirs too. Even Ford CEO Jim Hackett has the option to get one and drive it home, provided he’s interested in being seen driving a Ford GT. Beyond these names, the Blue Oval has a good amount of senior executives who have the resources to secure one.

Depending on how many actually do, I’d wager a bet that we could see somewhere around 15 to 20 units of the Ford GT with the Victory paint scheme. Keep it in that range, and you might be looking at a future collectible.
