Ford will end the production of the GT supercar, after building the last one on Thursday at the Wixom Assembly Plant. A number of 4038 units were built during years. The plant were the GT was produced is to close soon.

The GT was first unveiled as a concept in 2002. It is powered by a 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 engine with an output of 550 hp supercar. It makes the 0 to 60 mph sprint in 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph.
