Fancy a 2015 Ford Mustang but can't afford to pay at least $24,425 for an entry-level model? Or would you rather use that amount to buy something more purposeful, say a Dodge Grand Caravan->ke2783? Whatever the reason, you may have the chance to take a brand-new 2015 Mustang home for free courtesy of Ford and the 2014 BET Awards.

All you have to do is create a 60-second video in which you show and tell how you and your footage embody the passion and spirit of the Ford Mustang->ke428. The clip must be uploaded on the "Mustang And Me" campaign page on BET's website by 6 PM EDT on June 3rd.

The big winner will be announced during the live broadcast of the 2014 BET Awards on June 29. This year's event will be held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, with Chris Rock acting as the main host.

There's no official word as to what Mustang model the winner will be receiving, but we have a feeling we're talking about an entry-level, V-6-powered pony->ke507. You know what they say, never look a gift horse in the mouth.

In case you missed it earlier this month, Ford is also raffling a unique 2015 Mustang 50 Years Convertible by August 16. Raffle tickets cost $20 each and proceeds will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and its "No Opportunity Wasted" MS research initiative.

Why It Matters

Fitted with an independent rear suspension and with more tech than ever before, the 2015 Mustang is like no other pony, so it's not exactly surprising that Ford is busy promoting it through all sorts of campaigns. Giving away free cars is an old, successful publicity stunt and we bet this is not the last 2015 Mustang giveaway we'll be seeing by the end of the year.

2015 Ford Mustang

Officially introduced last December and showcased at the Detroit Auto Show, the sixth-generation Ford Mustang opened a completely new era for the iconic pony. Unlike previous models, the 2015 Mustang will greet its customers with an independent rear suspension, a line-lock system that allows drivers to perform burnouts without ruining the car’s clutch, and an unprecedented amount of technology.

In addition to keeping the familiar V-6 and V-8 engines, the new Mustang will also get a four-cylinder unit in the shape of a 2.3 liter EcoBoost. 1993 was the last year when Ford offered a four-pot on the third-generation Mustang.
