The whole purpose of teaser photos, at least as far as how we think of them are concerned, is to divulge certain aspects of a vehicle without going a little overboard. Normally, these kind of teaser photos are those that get us a little excited about the vehicle.

Unfortunately, though, Ford->ke31 seems to think that their batch of teasers accomplish this very objective. It's not that we don't like them, it's just that the teaser photos they've been releasing of the 2011 Ford Explorer->ke342 are, shall we say, peculiar. If we're allowed to be honest for a second, then we have no problem saying that we expected a little more out of these guys.

Okay, that's not entirely true. We expected a lot more from these guys than a few photos of the car's trunk with stuff on it, one with partial shots of the manual transmission, and another of just the two cup holders. If we're going to be excited about the 2011 Explorer, we're going to need Ford to tease us with photos that can get our imaginations running.

Come one, Ford. Give us something other than mindless features.
