Although Mercedes-Benz has yet to unveil the brand new C63 AMG sedan and its more useful Estate (wagon) brother, it appears that the Germans are planning on expanding their high-performance C-Class->ke1593 lineup by adding a coupe->ke141 and a convertible version.

Details are scarce at the time of this writing, but a new report coming from Autocar suggests that the new two-door variants are scheduled to arrive within the next two years, most likely in 2016.

Naturally, the next C63 AMG Coupe will storm the market looking for the new BMW M4 and the Audi RS5, while the drop-top will compete against the convertible->ke144 versions of the same cars.

Just like the sedan->ke142 and the wagon->ke143, the new pair of C63 AMGs will be motivated by a 4.0-liter, V-8 engine that will deliver about 450 twin-turbocharged horses.

Design-wise, expect a more aggressive front end, a quad exhaust setup around the back, an integrated rear spoiler, flared fenders, bigger wheels and larger brakes for improved stopping power.

Mercedes C63 AMG

Expected to make an entrance at the Paris Motor Show in October, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG sedan draws inspiration from the recently-unveiled C-Class and will get a touch of aggressiveness via an AMG body kit.

The sedan will be followed shortly by the C63 AMG Estate, which is already being tested across Europe and the United States. Needless to say, our spy photographers have already caught the wagon on the road.
