The holiday season is upon us so its entirely understandable if you’re scrambling to get your Christmas shopping done as soon as possible. You don’t want to be one of those people who receive all these cool gifts and give gift certificates in return, right? These days, it’s perfectly normal to do online shopping. As a matter of fact, it has become a more convenient way to shop for gifts than going to the mall and squeezing yourselves between throngs of people doing the exact same thing. So we’re doing all of you a solid by compiling a list of gift options that you or your gearhead family members may be interested in. But instead of scouring the usual online stores, we’ve taken a slightly different approach and went straight to the online stores of some our favorite automakers.

We scoured for cool items to suggest and found a whole bunch of them. These items range in price from affordable gifts like a computer mouse all the way to a premium smartphone that isn’t even on the market yet. Just remember that these gifts are just suggestions. Whether you buy them or not is entirely up to you.

Mercedes 300 SL Computer Mouse

We kick things off with a gift that’s both ingenious and affordable that we found at Mercedes-Benz’s->ke187 online shop. Since everybody uses computers these days, a Mercedes 300 SL->ke1995 computer mouse makes for an ideal gift for anybody, especially car enthusiasts like us. The mouse comes with various features, including a USB nano receiver, 2.4 GHz wireless technology, and a high-resolution optical sensor that can be toggled between 800 dpi and 1600 dpi.

Believe it or not, but the 300 SL mouse also comes with LED headlamps and tail lights. The mouse needs one AA battery but it’s worth noting that using the LED headlamps and taillights uses up more battery power than when they’re turned off.

The mouse can be used on computers that run Windows 8, Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, ME, or Mac OS X. So before you make purchase, make sure the person getting this gift has a computer than runs on these systems.

Aston Martin 007 Black Jacket

Let’s face it. There’s no way any of us can be like James Bond. But that doesn’t mean we can’t dress up like him, or at least dress up in a black jacket that bears his iconic “007” nickname. It’s only appropriate that Aston Martin,->ke13 Bond’s car of choice, is responsible for the creation of this black jacket, described as "soft shell" and fitted with the company’s logo embroidered on the left breast and the 007 logo neatly embroidered on the nape. Likewise, the same 007 logo can be found on the zip pulls as a decorative attachment.

Be careful about those decorative attachments, though. Experience has taught us that tugging too hard on those things could lead to them breaking off from the pulls entirely.

If that isn’t an issue for you, you can go check out the debonaire jacket at Aston Martin’s dedicated online shop.

Audi Bang & Olufsen headphones

Headphones have become an extremely popular gift choice these days, especially during the holidays. Take it from a guy who received three pairs of headphones last year.

If you’re looking for something a little bit different than the usual Bose or Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, Audi->ke14 and Bang & Olufsen are more than happy to show you their new headphones. We all know that Bang & Olufsen is a premium audio brand so it’s no surprise that it has teamed up with Audi to create these anodized-aluminum headphones, making them light and completely scratch-resistant. The aluminum material is combined with soft lambskin leather and calfskin leather to create an innovative product that’s as visually stunning as it is highly functional.

Audi’s only selling these headphones in one color option -- black with red and grey accents -- but that shouldn’t be a problem since these colors are traditionally used on headphones in the first place. It’s safe, sleek and sexy, making it an ideal holiday present for those who enjoy YouTube videos with lots of glorious exhaust noise.

Porsche Design Sport Bounce S4

This one caught us by surprise not because of its looks, but because it’s a recent addition to Porsche Design's new lineup of products. It’s called the Bounce S4 running shoe that was developed in collaboration with German sports manufacturer Adidas. The three stripes running down the side of the shoe are clear indications that these shoes are Adidas products. The mention of the sneaker using Adidas’ new proprietary Bounce technology is the second sign of the partnership between the two iconic German brands.

According to Porsche,->ke1 the Bounce S4 "uncompromisingly" blends luxury with ultra-lightweight performance. It’s got a carbon breastplate that was fitted into the shoe to provide top-quality cushioning. The blade-like sole is also a hat tip to the Adidas Springblade running shoe that made its own debut in the spring of 2014. Lastly, the futuristic upper comes with seamless construction, delivering the kind of versatile and glove-like fit Adidas running shoes are famous for.

Breitling for Bentley Desk Clock

We’re going up to the premium items on this list so be advised. Each of the remaining items on this list carries a price tag north of four figures. We begin with this dandy of a desk clock, created by Bentley in collaboration with Swiss watchmaker Breitling.

Needless to say, the Breitling for Bentley desk clock is the perfect gift for those who always seem to lose track of time.

It’s got a sloping base that is available in three wood veneers prominently used by the British luxury automaker: Burr Walnut, Tamo Ash, and Dark Stained Burr Walnut. Moving to the clock itself, you’ll notice that the it's surrounded by a bezel that carries the same knurled motif of Bentley’s->ke15 front grilles. Meanwhile, the silver-toned dial and the grooved hour-markers are classic designs of Breitling, while its corresponding price tag can also be described as being in the shallow end of Breitling’s luxury timepiece range.

BMW Mountain Bike

BMW->ke178 spared no expense in fitting the Mountain All Mountain bike with some of the best technology in the segment.

The bike’s perfectly tuned aluminum frame has been hydro-formed and powder-coated to ensure top quality and safety. The exclusive Shimano XT derailleur gears and the hydraulic disc brakes are also ideally suited for those long-distance runs up and down rough terrain. The lightweight bike also has a sports suspension with a lock fork and a four-pivot rear suspension with anti-bobbing technology. This system helps the bike’s stability even as it’s traveling under uneven surfaces.

It’s important to remember that the hydraulic disc brakes are specified for the EU. So if you’re in the U.S., these brake hoses must be replaced "expertly." Here’s another little problem: BMW doesn’t ship the bike outside the EU so securing one here in the U.S. is a little tricky. You could still work the noted bike retailers in the country and see what you can find. That’s the option we’d take if we really wanted to get this All Mountain bike for somebody.

2014 Fernando Alonso Replica Helmet 1:1

If you happen to be in the market for Formula One->ke662 memorabilia and you have a lot of money to burn, Ferrari’s online shop has a whole section just for you. You can check it out or you can just go with the best one we picked out. This is a 1:1 replica of the helmet worn by Formula One driver Fernando Alonso during the 2014 F1 season. The details on the helmet are remarkably accurate, right down to the colors and the placement of the sponsors' logos.

It’s the closest thing to the actual helmet Alonso wore during the season and is about as unique a memorabilia as you can have in the world of Formula One. The only caveat is that this replica is meant as a display piece only. It can’t be used as head protection in motorsports, or even the morning commute to work.

Then again, if you spend $ 5,686 for this helmet, whoever gets it would be wise to leave it as a showpiece in his man cave.

The steel case of the phone is available in gold, black, or plain steel colors while the leather details and the accompanying decorative stitching can be had in either black, blue, red, orange colors.
