Sometimes, all you need for success is the right ingredients. It doesn’t matter how they come together – if picked wisely, each component will inevitably benefit the whole. One example comes from the culinary world – it doesn’t matter what you’re cooking; add bacon, and the result will be a masterpiece, guaranteed. But what about in the world of performance vehicles? Well, The SupercarDriver thinks it has the right stuff with this upcoming shootout. Simply put, each member of the hybrid hypercar “Holy Trinity” will be present for a no-holds-barred rumble of speed and tire smoke. Sweet.

Even though every gearhead on the planet wants to see the LaFerrari,->ke4626 918 Spyder,->ke3629 and P1->ke4608 go head-to-head, Ferrari,->ke252 Porsche,->ke1 and McLaren->ke284 seem reluctant to put up examples for direct comparison. Luckily, SCD managed to coerce Paul Bailey, who just so happens to own one of each, into loaning out his babies for a day of testing.

The venue of choice is Silverstone, while the man behind the wheel is British Touring Car racer Mat Jackson. SCD says it only has a few tests left to shoot before it releases a “mammoth feature film” documenting the results. There will be telemetry data, analysis, and loads of footage showing uber-expensive, tip-of-the-spear technological juggernauts tackling the iconic U.K. circuit.

Expect the full-length comparison sometime this November.
