Launched less than three months ago at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show->ke228, the 2015 Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce (SV) is reportedly sold out. That's the word from Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, which claims that all 600 units of the Aventador SV have been spoken for. The report adds that Lamborghini->ke44 accepted the first orders for the supercar in Geneva. Given this information is true, I'm not at all surprised Lambo has found 600 buyers for the Aventador SV in less than three months.
Of the 600 supercars sold globally, 200 units will be delivered to North and South America, while 200 examples will land with enthusiasts from the Asia-Pacific region. The remaining 200 cars were sold to customers from Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In Europe, the Aventador SV was priced from €327,190 (around $364,600) before options. The sticker doesn't include VAT.
As a brief reminder, the Aventador SV, which walks in the footsteps of the Murcielago SV and Diablo SV, is a lighter and more powerful version of the standard Aventador.->ke3624 Power comes from a naturally aspirated, 6.5-liter V12 that cranks out 740 horses and 509 pound-feet of torque. The power bump combined with the weight loss helps drop the 0-to-62-mph sprint to 2.8 seconds – 0.1 second quicker than the base model. Its top speed is equally impressive at more than 217 mph.

Why it matters
With the Aventador SV already a big hit and off to become a sought-after collectible in a few years, Lamborghini will likely want to build on the SV's success and introduce the much-anticipated Roadster model. Although not yet confirmed, a topless Aventador SV is more than likely to happen, with the Italians already testing a roadster that features many of the coupe's bespoke styling cues and aerodynamic bits. The Aventador would become the second SV to receive a drop-top->ke144 version, after the Murcielago SV.
