The life of the average Lamborghini Huracán->ke4345 owner should be pretty merry from some points of view, especially when his or her vehicle is faster than over 90 percent of cars in almost any given situation. Not for the guy with the red Huracán from the footage above though, as his 602 horsepower supercar was beaten in a -- highly illegal and dangerous road race -- by the favorite taxi of Germany, a Mercedes-Benz E-Class.->ke373

Obviously, this is not an ordinary E-Class oil-burner like the aforementioned taxis, but an E63 AMG 4Matic, and not just any AMG model but one with RENNtech performance parts bolted on. A standard, non-S version of the E63 AMG 4Matic comes with a twin-turbocharged, 5.5-liter V-8 that delivers 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to a pair of ball-bearing turbochargers from Garrett and an ECU tune, RENNtech engineers managed to extract no less than 855 horsepower and 945 pound-feet of torque from the otherwise stock engine, which translates into some pretty scary performance figures.

That said, the shenanigans from the video are a perfect example of how not to behave on a public road, especially when people who can afford these types of cars can also afford a day at the track or at drag strip. Even there, the Lambo->ke44 would be no match for the modified Merc in terms of power and torque, with its naturally aspirated, 5.2-liter V-10 developing "only" 602 horsepower and 412 pound-feet of torque, or about half what the German sedan features.

Fun to watch, but both of these guys should be posting very heavy bonds.
