Yesterday we got the first teaser image of the future Lamborghini Jota->ke3624, so it is only logical that today new details on the future supercar have surfaced on the internet. The car will be unveiled to dealers and VIPs in July, followed by the official debut at the Paris Motor Show.

The biggest news about the future Jota is that it might come without scissor doors. Apparently, the company decided to drop them in order to save weight. Instead they have been redesigned to open out first, then up like many aftermarket kits.

Compared to the supercar that it replaces (the Murcielago->ke1267), the Jota will be shorter, weigh less than 330 lbs, and will hit a top speed of 230 mph. It will sit on new 21" wheels over upgraded Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes. Also the new supercar will be built on a new carbon-fiber tub and will use as much aluminum and carbon fiber as possible. The exterior design will be inspired by both the Reventon->ke2866 and the Estoque concept.
