The Italian State Police’s 2015 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 police car is an actual law enforcement vehicle. It comes with all the bells and whistles of a police cruiser, and it even has the iconic blue Polizia livery. Lamborghini->ke44 CEO Stephan Winkelmann personally handed the keys of the Huracan->ke4345 to the Italian State Police in May 2014.

Meanwhile, Lamborghini Palm Beach also has a 2015 Huracan dressed up in the Polizia livery, right down to the two-color scheme and the lightweight light bar resting comfortably on the roof of the car. The only difference is this Huracan isn’t an actual police car,->ke2339 but a regular model that just so happened to sport the same livery as the real thing in Italy.

Since private citizens of the U.S. can actually own Italian police-themed state vehicles, Lamborghini Palm Beach isn’t breaking any laws by giving one of its Huracans the iconic Polizia livery of the Italian State Police. But not a lot of people know about this little rule so naturally, the Lambo dealer, with the help of YouTube channel CAFE SpA, sought the good people of Palm Beach, Florida to see whether they know a thing or two about the Huracan Polizia.

Not surprisingly, some people immediately spotted the difference and pointed out that the Huracan wasn’t an actual police vehicle. It’s in the U.S., after all, so it doesn’t make sense for the supercar->ke177 to be making the rounds in Palm Beach when it’s supposed to be doing the same thing in, say, Rome or Milan. Others, though, were less sure about the car, not knowing exactly what it is and what it’s doing in Palm Beach.

But one thing was clear from this little exercise: nobody could take their eyes off of this Huracan and understandably so because you don’t often see Lamborghinis dressed up like this unless you’re in Italy or Dubai.
