Two days ago, Lamborghini unveiled a teaser image of a mystery model that will make its world debut next month at the Paris Auto Show. Since all we got was a little tailpipe shot, the speculation ran ramped. Inside Line reported yesterday that this mystery model will be a four-door concept. But today, ItaliaSpeed reports the new model will be the brand-new Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Superveloce.

Like the Reventon->ke2866, the LP640 Superveloce will also be a limited edition model with 100 units planned. This should be the last edition before Lamborghini will replace the Murcielago.

The Superveloce will be powered by the Reventón's dramatic F-22 'Raptor' jet fighter-inspired styling, and will pump out an extra 30-40 bhp as it seeks to position itself in the market above the 6.5-liter V12-engined LP640.

Prices are expected to be somewhere around 382,400 euros (around $550,000 at current exchange rates.)
