We already know how much of an esteemed camera brand Leica is, but even if it’s already considered one of the premier cameras in the world, the company still went out of its way to tap a man who knows a thing or two about designing: Volkswagen->ke94 chief designer Walter de’Silva.

So how did de’Silva work his designing magic and put his own stamp on a Leica M9 camera? Well, for starters, he went all out on the material and decided to use titanium with a sapphire crystal screen. The VW designer also used Nappa leather and a diamond-texture grip surface before finishing it off with a shoulder harness.

Needless to say, the fancy materials de’Silva used for the M9 Titanium camera will absolutely warrant a price tag of stratospheric numbers. Just how much is one of these limited edition 500-off cameras? Try $26,500.

Yeah, our jaws dropped down to the floor too.
