It’s a rear-wheel-drive Chevy,->ke199 it has more than 400 horsepower, a six-speed manual transmission, and sounds absolutely amazing at full throttle. No, I’m not talking about the Camaro->ke248 or the Corvette,->ke1280 I’m talking about the Australian-built, U.S.-spec Chevy SS. And, you might not know it yet, but it’s the next Chevy car you want to buy. But, don’t take my word for it. Motor Trend just released Episode 152 of its long-running Ignition series with Jason Cammisa and a guest appearance by Randy Pobst having a little fun with the new SS.->ke4344

I won’t ruin the video review for you, but Cammisa thoroughly compares the SS to the E39 BMW M5. Of course, the best part is when Pobst gets behind the wheel, and you get to see what a professional driver can do with Chevy’s flagship sedan.->ke142 To make the video even better, Pobst runs the M5->ke2922 and the SS across down the same track, and we get a side-by-side view of the entire run. Pay attention to this part of the video->ke278 – it’s amazing to see similarities in how Pobst drives both cars.

With that said, go ahead and click play. Enjoy the video!
