What does the future bring for Bugatti after the 300 Veyron will be all sold out? According to Franz-Josef Paefgen, CEO of Bugatti a new model will come in 2011 or 2012.

"The next three years we think about new members for the Veyron-family," said Paefgen. "But we won't see a completely new model until 2011 or 2012. The newcomer must fit into the Bugatti history, but also stay faithful to the Veyron. A totally different direction is not an option."

The new model will be an extreme one, but not necessary a performance one. Bugatti always tested the borders and looks for new ideas to surpass the competition.

Also he said that the CO2 is an "extremely complex problem" and that "Bugatti should seek a significant CO2 reduction. But if this solutions will ceases Bugatti to exist then the company will not work on CO2 emission. "I can not imagine that these cars disappear," said Paefgen.
