So far, the 2018 Geneva Auto Show has been mostly about extreme supercars and exciting concepts. But, if you're looking for a new daily driver, there are quite a few cars to talk about, including the Toyota Auris and Aygo, the Peugeot 508, or the Smart EQ ForTwo. The Nissan Juke also made a surprise appearance at the show, but not in second-generation clothes. Instead, the Japanese automaker added a few new features inside and out, which suggests that the almost eight-year-old Juke is here to stay for a while longer.

A quick glance at the crossover and we clearly see that it doesn't look much different, as in there are no actual changes in design. Nissan only gave the Juke a more mature look with a dark chrome V-motion grille, darker headlamps, and dark turn signals on the mirror caps. LED fog lamps are now standard on the Acenta trim.

Arguably the biggest improvement on the outside is the ability to add new color accents on the front bumper, side skirts, wheels, mirror caps, and rear bumper. Accent colors include blue and orange, but the package isn't available on all models, as it is standard on the Bose Personal Edition and optional on the Tekna trim. The exterior is rounded off by two new 16-inch alloy wheel designs and an optional 18-inch set with colored inserts on the Tekna version.

The interior also gets new accent trim, in either Energy Orange or Power Blue, on the center console, air vents, door inserts, and seat upholstery. There's also higher grade leather for the steering wheel. The Juke also benefits from a Bose Personal audio system with digital processing and six high-performance speakers. The bundle includes two Bose UltraNearfield speakers built into the driver's seat headrest and is unique to Nissan.

Every Nissan Juke now comes with air conditioning, electrically adjusting door mirrors, front and rear power windows, CD audio unit with aux port, and LED daytime running lights as standard. The Acenta trim adds the Nissan Dynamic Control System, foglamps, cruise control with speed limiter, automatic air conditioning, privacy glass, USB port and Bluetooth connectivity. Go with the Bose Personal Edition grade, and you also get the NissanConnect infotainment system, reversing camera, Nissan Intelligent Key with push-button start, electrically folding door mirrors, part-leather seats, automatic headlights and the BOSE Personal sound system. Finally, the flagship Tekna grade adds features like Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Around View Monitor, and full leather heated front seats.
