Horacio Pagani, founder of the Argentinian exclusive sports car brand, has announced that the company has plans for a lighter model. It is a possible V8 model set to be unveiled in 2015. Pagani plans to build around 400-500 units, each carrying a price tag of € 500,000 (around $625,000 at the current exchange rates).

However, the company's full attention right now is focusing on the future C9 supercar->ke3170 that is set to be revealed at the end of September at this year's Paris Auto Show->ke227. The C9 will feature a redesigned rear diffuser featuring twin instead of quad exhausts, a brand new air intake behind the clear engine cover, and a bluff front nose section. Under the hood there will be an AMG sourced 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 producing around 700bhp and 1000Nm of torque. This will sprint the car from from 0 to 62mph in less than three seconds and on to a top speed of more than 220mph.

Unlike its predecessor, the C9 will also be sold on the American market.
