Do you like cars? Are you fluent in German? Can you be in Germany by this afternoon?

If you have answered yes to all the above questions, then maybe you can finally take your dream job building Porsches. The sports car maker is holding a sort of open house today for students to learn about careers offered at its production facilities. From this, Porsche hopes to get 100 new trainees to begin next year on programs including the new Panamera->ke1840.

There are 15 different training positions available, including vehicle outfitter, painter or automobile mechatronics engineer. Even more interesting is Porsche is also offering for the first time training to become what it refers to as an “automotive industrial mechanic”. Which after three and a half years, the graduated trainees will be able to take on multiple tasks in vehicle production and work within many areas of the company.

For all those who are reading this and are now ready to hop on a plane, I’ve got some bad news: by the time you read this, the open house has already started. The good news is Porsche does this often, but this open house just happens to be larger than usual. Just keep an eye on its website, more opportunities are available. So start brushing up on you German, because even though this is usually a program for local students, we can all still dream, right?
