All of you must have heard of Porsche’s in-house design division unless you are living under the rock. Known as Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, it became famous for working on the pre-facelift version of the Macan Turbo last year. Moniker’d as the Macan Turbo Exclusive Performance Edition, Porsche priced it at €166,091 ($190,492) – more than twice the price of two entry-level Macans. Now, the new Macan S is going under the Porsche Exclusive Knife.

A Win-Win Situation

The trend of in-house performance divisions is picking up rapidly in the high-end luxury car market. It makes sense because you wouldn’t give your six-figure car to a local customizer. Even if you go with a reputed one, you risk voiding the warranty. This works very well for the manufacturer as well. We all know that companies earn the most through accessories and performance alterations. Also, it goes unsaid that the majority of the people who spend a bomb on their cars would still go ahead and customize the car to some extent at least. When it can be done at the factory level, well, it comes with social status, prestige, blah blah, blah.

This One Is The Real Deal

Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur recently started working on the new 2019 Macan S. The bespoke division decided to give the Macan S a Volcano Grey Metallic paint and 20-inch Turbo wheels that feature the same shade alloys and fully lacquered spokes. It comes along with painted side sill panels, and the rear comes with subtle tweaks and motorsport-inspired diffuser. The door handles, and quad exhaust tips are finished in glossy black to add to the oomph factor.

Interiors Get The Pizzazz As Well

The customized 2019 Macan S is equally spectacular on the inside as well. Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur has opted for two-tone leather upholstery in Black and Mojave Beige with black seat-center strips for extra effect. The design studio will also put its badge onto the headrests and central armrest as an option (well, everything is optional basically!). If you prefer wood inserts, you can go for this Anthracite Chestnut package with a wood decor that was first seen in the 2017 Cayenne.

PThe prices have not been revealed, but we are mentally prepared for a heavy price tag for this. Check out these images and let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
