Striking a blow for the American automotive manufacturing sector, Revenge Designs unveiled their Verde super car, a speed machine that gets 100 MPG with over 400 HP and can do up to 200 MPH at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show. The Verde hybrid super car is built upon an aluminum chassis and features a lightweight carbon fiber body.

Aside from the standard gas/electric V8 power plant, Revenge will offer both a Roush sourced Ford Racing V8 making 605 HP and a supercharged LS9 cranking out 638 HP if you happen to be a bow tie fan. Either was the super car will sprint from 0 to 60 MPH in anywhere from three to five seconds and be capable of reaching a top speed in the neighborhood of 200 MPH, all while remaining very green.

Revenge President and CEO Peter Collorafi has big hopes for the green speedster: "I feel it’s time to look ahead, stop the reliance on imported goods, and generate jobs in Michigan." At around $200,000 a piece, Verde sales would put bread on quite a few family's tables.
