For those living in areas with rough winters or simply refusing the lure of indoor binge-watching when the temperatures drop and the elements go all crazy, the Ram 1500 North Edition might just be the present you write Santa for.

As for firepower, your weapon of choice under the hood is either the 3.6-liter, Pentastar, V-6 with 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque or the 5.7-liter, HEMI, V-8 with 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are fitted with the eTorque mild-hybrid system that promises significant gains in fuel efficiency and adds up to 90 pound-feet of twist to the V-6 or 130 pound-feet to the V8.

Now, back to the goodies that Ram threw at the 1500 North Edition pickup truck. First on the list is a set of Falken LT tires, because we all know how every bit of traction matters on slippery roads. Routing power to these tires is a 4x4 transfer case with three settings: Auto, High, and Low. From the factory, the Ram 1500 North Edition comes with a one-inch suspension lift kit, electric-locking rear axle, tow hooks, an engine block heater system, as well as heated seats, side mirrors, and steering wheel.

On the comfort side, the North Edition brings the likes of a 12-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, Mopar all-weather floor mats, and remote start. Visually, the pickup has body-colored bumpers, mirrors, and door handles plus “4x4” graphics on the rear fenders. Keep in mind that this price tag does not include the $1,695 destination fee.
