The new Audi RS7 Sportback has been spotted yet again; this time much closer. The alter ego version of the A7 will have a lot of performance bits added to it. We’ve seen Audi turn its other models into S and RS versions and the results have been quite impressive. Not much is known about the RS7 Sportback, and most of what we do know is based largely on rumors and speculation.

The New RS7 On The Outside

The RS7 Sportback comes with LED headlights, a black, trademark honeycomb mesh insert for the front grille, larger air intakes, and aerodynamic bits around the front bumper.

Under The Hood

This is significantly higher than the current RS7, which produces 560 horses in standard form and 605 horses with the performance package. With 605 ponies under the hood, the RS7 reaches 62 miles per hour from a standstill in 3.6 seconds; so the new RS7 Sportback will certainly lower this time. It will most likely come with Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive and an eight-speed S-Tronic automatic gearbox as standard.

Conclusion

This could be the one seen in the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-hybrid, which produces a combined 700 horses - 550 ponies from the engine and 150 from the electric motors. With so many options to choose from, the RS7 Sportback seems like a hit already. The new Audi RS7 Sportback will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show early next year, before going on sale by the end of 2019. What are your thoughts on the new Audi RS7 Sportback?
