When we saw the trailer for Forza Horizon 3 and E3 last month, everyone in the TopSpeed office went crazy. With the promise of 350 cars, and the largest open world map for the franchise yet, who wouldn’t be excited, right? Unfortunately, we have to wait until late September before we get the chance to play it ourselves, but until then, Forza is doing everything it can to tease us. And, the first major tease comes in the form of the first edition of Forza Garage – a forum where Forza will post announcements about the game.

With the first edition came a list of 165 of the cars that will be in the game. There are models like the 2010 Aston Martin One-77, 2014 BAC Mono, 1970 Datsun 510, 2015 Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Hellcats, 1977 Holden Torana A8X, and the 2016 Jaguar F-Type Project 7, to name a few. If you’re wondering why there is a Holden on the list, it’s because Horizon 3 will be based in Australia and it just wouldn’t be right not to have at least a few Holdens.

These listed model aren’t exactly what Forza thinks will be the most popular, but there’s definitely a few that I can’t wait to tear ass across Australia with. So, with that said, let’s take a look at some of the other cars on the list – it’s at least enough to hold us over until the next installment of Forza Garage hits the web.

2016 Ariel Nomad

It’s powered by Honda’s 2.4-liter engine and features a steel tube chassis with a suspension system that provides just the right combination of on- and off-road ability. With 235 horsepower and 221 pound-feet or torque on tap, this go-kart on steroids can hit 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and tops out at 125 mph. With a six-speed manual transmission, it’s also torquey and always ready to run.

2015 Ford Falcon XR8

Possibly one of the coolest Ford’s money can buy (outside of the new Ford GT, that is) the Falcon XR8 is one powerful sedan. Powered by a Boss 5.0-liter, supercharged V-8, this sucker produces 449 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.

2015 Baldwin Motorsports No. 97 Monster Energy Trophy Truck

If you’re into off-roading, then the Baldwin Motorsports Trophy Truck probably doesn’t need much of an introduction. We don’t have official specifications for the truck, but some sources indicate that it could have up to 800 horsepower. According to Forza, there is “more horsepower here that any average driver will ever need and more suspension travel than nearly any vehicle on the planet.” You can bet this is one I can’t wait to tear across Australia when the game finally hits stores.

2014 Ford FPV Limited Edition Pursuit Ute

Since Forza Horizon 3 is based in Australia, it should come as no surprise that there are a few Utes in the list. This one, however, is rather special and one that you don’t want to overlook once you sit down to play. So what makes it so special? In the real world, it was only produced to the tune of 120 examples. It is powered by a 5.0-liter, supercharged, V-8 that delivers a cool 422 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque. In case you’re interested you can see the full specs for the real-world model here.

2015 Polaris RZR XP 1000 EPS

For those of you who haven’t paid attention to the previous Horizon games, there has never been a side-by-side buggy playable… until now. Meet the 2015 Polaris RZR XP 1000 EPS. It features electronic power steering, nearly 100 horsepower and a long-travel suspension that makes it perfect for hopping off-road. This is the vehicle you want to use when hitting tight trails, narrow gaps, or if you’re just looking to field hop for a few minutes.

2016 Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4

Built to celebrate Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday, the Centenario is one amazing car. And, it should be, with a price tag of $1.9 million. On the greasy side of things, the Centenario is powered by a 6.5-liter V-12 that produces an astonishing 770 horsepower and pushes this rolling piece of art to a top speed of 217 mph. The 62 mph sprint takes just 2.8-seconds while hitting 186 mph only takes 23.5 seconds. You’ll be lucky to actually see one in real life, but with Forza Horizon 3, you’ll be able to own one, drive it, drift it, beat on it, and dream about it all you want.

Conclusion

The models listed here are just a small handful of what is to come, and there are actually more than 150 more that we already know about. It would take us all day to format them into this article, so if you’re interested in seeing the rest of the lineup, check out the first installment of Forza Garage here.
