Unveiled more than six months ago, the radical McLaren Senna is finally meeting its first customers. The British firm just shipped its first U.S.-spec example, which landed with Michael Fux, an entrepreneur, philanthropist and renowned car collector from New York City. An owner of three other McLaren sports cars, Fux ordered a heavily customized Senna that sports a bespoke color that bears his own name. Pretty fancy, huh?

The supercar is wrapped in a bright shade of emerald green, which McLaren named Fux Green. While it's cool to see a McLaren in a different color than black, red or blue, the really cool thing here is that the transparent paint allows the carbon-fiber body to shine through. Yes, this Senna features the optional exposed carbon shell, which includes 67 parts that take almost 1,000 hours to produce and put together.

But the list of bespoke McLaren Special Operations (MSO) features doesn't stop here. The supercar is also fitted with ball-polished wheels and blue and red center locking nuts. The interior borrows the emerald green theme from the exterior, with the same Fux Green used to dress the gloss carbon-fiber trim, the door struts, and the rear-view mirror. The dash, seats, door panels, and steering wheel are wrapped in bright white leather for a striking contrast, complemented by green stitching. Green "MSO" logos on the white headrests complete the look.

As a brief reminder, the Senna gets its juice from a twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V-8 that churns a neck-breaking 789 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The 2,600-pound supercar needs only 2.7 seconds to hit 60 mph, to go with a top speed of 211 mph.

The Senna is Fux's fourth McLaren, joining two 12C models and a 720S. The latter is also finished in a paint that bears the owner's name, called Fux Fuchsia, and a bright white interior. The sports car was displayed on the Concept Car Lawn at the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The emerald green Senna will be on display at The Quail during Monterey Car Week on August 24th. It might just be your only chance to see it in the metal.
