The new Avengers movie (Age of Ultron) was released last week featuring a swarm of Marvel superheroes battling to save the planet. Audi->ke14 was able to get in on the action by providing three of its latest models for cameo spotlights, with the TTS,->ke3007 A3 Cabriolet, and next-generation R8 all getting a bit of screen time alongside the formidable do-gooders. To help promote the film and its vehicles, the four-ring brand has released this short video, which shows its quickly moving two-door TTS, draped red, as well as additional shots from the movie.

Audi has enjoyed close ties with Marvel for quite some time now, with the R8->ke1440 making its initial debut in the first Iron Man. Now, the second gen will complement Robert Downey Jr.’s character with its revamped V-10 engine and tweaked exterior styling.

“The character Tony Stark continues to evolve and represents a truly modern renaissance man – an industrialist, engineer and leader in his new world,” said Giovanni Perosino, Head of Marketing Communication at AUDI AG, in a press release. “It’s this type of innovator that carefully selects their cars and is exactly who would be driving the next generation Audi R8.”

There’s also a hilarious short with Marvel legend Stan Lee on Audi’s YouTube channel featuring Kevin Smith, Tara Reid, Michael Rooker, Jason Mewes, Lou Ferrigno, and an S8->ke1900 sedan. 2016 Audi R8

The R8 hit the upscale sports car->ke506 market in 2007 as an economical alternative to the traditional offerings from Ferrari->ke252 and Lamborghini,->ke44 and now, Audi is updating its mid-engine screamer for the 2016 model year. Included is a curb weight 110 pounds under that of the 2015 model, down to 3,428 pounds total. This is thanks to a new multi-material lightweight construction that includes a redesigned space frame weighing just 441 pounds. Inside is enough luxury to satisfy billionaire playboys, while the new V-10 engine pumps out 540 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. It’s the right stuff to keep you busy if your military-grade battle suit happens to be in the shop.

2016 Audi TTS

Making its debut for the 2016 model year, the third-generation TT->ke1081 provides us with a nearly identical exterior design, but revamped interior and updated drivetrain. The cabin space is decked out in two-tone luxury with leather upholstery and high-grade materials, as well as an MMI infotainment system. A slew of different engines are on hand for motivation, including a 2.0-liter TDI, turbocharged 2.0-liter gas unit, and top-range 2.0-liter TFSI with 310 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. In top spec, the new TT will sprint to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 155 mph.

2015 Audi A3 Cabriolet

This A3 drop-top was first seen in Frankfurt->ke235 in 2013, sporting many similarities to the A3 hatchback, but with significantly expanded headroom. The exterior is typical Audi fair, with a large, single-piece grille, horizontal headlights with optional LED technology, and chiseled, handsome lines. Other optional features include adaptive cruise control, side assist, active lane assist, traffic sign recognition, and a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system. Customers can choose between a variety of engines, including both diesel and gas-powered units.
