Country superstar Toby Keith returned to the small screen recently with a new series of Ford Truck ads. Part of Ford Trucks’ fall advertising blitz, the new ads debut the new Keith original song “Working Man” that honors the spirit of American workers.

The ads, featuring the entire Ford truck lineup from the F-Series Super Duty on down to the Ranger, will be offered to regional Ford dealer groups who are expected to include them in their heavy truck ad rotations, many including NFL games for the new season and the NASCAR “Chase for the Cup” series. Ford Trucks also reached out to the country music world by presenting the release of the new Toby Keith film Broken Bridges and playing a major role in Keith’s stage show on the “Hookin’ Up and Hangin’ Out Tour.”

“Our dealers are very excited to get these new spots that build on an unprecedented fall truck advertising campaign,” said Brian Rathsburg, Ford Truck communications manager. “Our customers relate to Toby Keith because he’s a true Ford Truck man. His new song really highlights that Ford Trucks will work just as hard as they do, and just as hard as he does.”

Ford’s relationship with Keith has proven to drive bottom-line results. Ford has reached tens of thousands of potential sales leads through promotions and other efforts in and around Toby Keith’s concerts. On average, a Toby Keith concert series draws one million attendees, with Ford having collaborated on four concert tours with Keith to date.
