Travis Pastrana didn’t mince his words describing the NRX track, calling it a “hell track for cars.” Pastrana knows a thing or two about hell track for racers. He’s competed — and won — in supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross, and rally racing. But even with his accomplishments, Pastrana still paid reverence to the track that will be used in the Nitro World Games by taking us on a flying lap around the circuit.

The Full Story

The video itself doesn’t describe what the track looks like from Pastrana’s perspective, but he did say in a separate video that from the start of a lap, cars are going to have to perform a jump — or a series of smaller jumps — to get through the remainder of the course. The jumps are just one part of the NRX Track Lap. You’ll also have to decide which parts of the track you want to tackle. Depending on what your decision is, you could be in store for one massive jump with serious amounts of air or a number of smaller jumps that are no less important in taking the NRX track down.

The new NRX track is all sorts of crazy. There are a number of events that are taking place when the first-ever Nitro Rallycross competition kicks into high gear. Pastrana will be competing in some of them, and judging by his concentration while driving around the NRX track, he'll need to be laser-focused if he wants to conquer what looks to be a very challenging course.
