Based on past experiences, we know for sure that the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt has a soft spot for high-end performance cars as he was spotted back in 2008 testing out the Ferrari F430 Spider at the famed Monte Carlo Formula One circuit.

Bolt also has quite a history with the BMW M3 because a couple of years ago, the Jamaican sprinter rolled his M3 - which was provided free of charge from his sponsor Puma – while a passenger was on board. Fortunately for Bolt and his passenger, they both walked away from that incident relatively uninjured while the M3 was a complete wreck.

And the curse of the BMW M3 has continued for Bolt, as images have just been released of yet another M3 which he crashed in his home country. As you can see, the damage is fairly minor when compared to the wreck which occurred in 2009, but nevertheless it does highlight the fact that the M3 may be a little too much for Bolt to handle.

Fortunately, it appears as though only the front end of the car was damaged meaning a fix should be simple, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Bolt was simply given another M3 to replace it rather than waiting for the lengthy repair to be conducted.

The former ‘world’s fastest man’ and fellow Jamaican Asafa Powell initially confirmed the incident on his twitter account although he was quick to point out that he was not in the car.

It’s yet to be confirmed how the crash occurred, although we suspect speed was involved.
