Only few hours ago, Nissan ->ke62 unveiled the official details on the new GT-R Nismo, which happens to be the most powerful GT-R ever, and now it's time to see it in action at the Nürburgring->ke999 Nordschleife. On the famed German circuit is where it managed to score a time of just 7:8.679. making it the world's fastest volume-production car around the "Green Hell."

The lap time was recorded by Michael Krumm, a Nissan test-driver, who was impressed by the capacities of the new GT-R Nismo->ke1592.

The model that established this amazing time was equipped with the track options package that includes aerodynamics tuning, weight reduction, and suspension tuning. Under the hood, there is the newly updated engine GT-R engine: a 3.8-liter, twin-boosted V-6 engine that delivers a total of 600 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque.
