People often say that you shouldn't give up on your dreams, or your dreams will give up on you (John Wooden). No mater the obstacles, you should always end up doing the things you like. While it may sound beautiful on paper, it can be pretty difficult in real life.

Imagine how difficult it was for you to achieve the last thing you dreamed about; now, multiply that by 1,000, and you have an idea just how difficult it would be for a blind man to drive a car. Even more, how difficult it may be for him to break a world speed record.

Mike Newman finds no trouble in following his dream, and despite his disability, he just broke the land speed record ->ke1948 for blind men. He was able to hit a top speed of 186 mph, and stole the record from Turkish pop singer Metin Senturk.

The record was established at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground in Leicestershire.
