Japanese automaker, Lexus->ke47, is not shy in cooking up marketing campaigns. In fact, it's done quite a handful of out-of-the-box types of ads in the past and its latest one is definitely the epitome of unconventional. In its attempt to promote its commitment to style and sophistication, the Japanese automaker recently teamed up with production company The Weinstein Company to create a series of short films.

The first one, called "Beyond Memories,” actually premiered during the 2013 Cannes Film Festival in France, which is pretty impressive in its own right.

The second one, though, has a more subdued debut. It's called "Echoes" and it’s the second in a series of five films that the automaker will unveil in the coming weeks.

For now, you can enjoy the nine-minute short film Echoes. We've already seen it and if you're the type who likes a slow-paced, thinking man's short film, you're going to have a trip watching this one.
