The Audi Q3 has been teased and spied long enough. The time has come for the second-generation crossover to show its face, and it looks like Audi is about to give the people what it wants. The new Q3 is scheduled to be unveiled tomorrow, July 25, and to commemorate the occasion, Audi is dropping a new teaser to get us all hyped up about its new crossover.

This is what it all boils down to. Audi’s largely kept its promise from last year that it would introduce a new model every three weeks. We’ve seen the Q8 flagship SUV, the A1 Sportback, and, most recently, the updated TT. Now, it’s the Q3’s turn under the spotlight.

To be fair, we’ve already seen plenty of the Q3, even though some of them were with the crossover covered in lots and lots of camouflage. Still, we’ve gotten a good impression on what the Q3 looks like, and parts of the teaser have reinforced our thoughts about the crossover. The styling language, for example, remains true to Audi’s entire lineup of SUVs. The LEDs come with a different design, sure, but that’s all part of what makes the Q3 appealing. It sticks to the overall design for consistency’s sake but has a few styling surprises of its own.

Speaking of surprises, we don’t know too much about what the interior of the crossover is going to look like, but based on recent spy photos, it looks like it’s getting some new-age digs of its own, including the Audi Virtual Cockpit. Don’t take our word for it, though.

The Q3 should also get the usual suspects as far as engine options are concerned. That likely means that the crossover is in line to get a 1.5-liter TSI and a 2.0-liter TDI unit in various states of tune. A plug-in hybrid model has also been rumored, one that supposedly will feature a range of 31 miles.

Much has been made about the next-generation Audi Q3. It’s going to be like this; it’s going to be like that. Well, we’re going to find out all the answers shortly, including its production timetable and subsequent release schedule.

For now, enjoy the short teaser video and appreciate the fact that Audi’s aggressive push to freshen up its portfolio remains on schedule.
