The Italdesign GT-R50, essentially a modified Nissan GT-R, just made its public debut at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The bespoke supercar was driven on the historic race track and, as expected, it looks even better in motion than in the official photos.

Although it remains familiar from the side, the GT-R50 boasts significant changes in the front and rear. The grille and the headlamps have very little in common with the regular model, while the rear section gained "floating" taillights and a more aggressive diffuser. The big, adjustable wing and the gold body panels give the GT-R50 an exotic look.

Not surprisingly, the GT-R50 handles the race course pretty well, and the beefed-up V-6 engine sounds mean. In case you missed the news, Nissan upgraded the twin-turbo, 3.8-liter V-6 to deliver 710 horsepower and 575 pound-feet of torque, a 118-horsepower and 94-pound-foot increase over the Nissan GT-R Nismo.

The Japanese firm plans to produce 50 units of the GT-R50 and sell them for around $1 million a pop. Get them wallets ready; this bespoke supercar won't be available for long!
