Mercedes has provided a link to watch the unveiling of the E-Class->ke373 in Detroit, scheduled to take place January 11, 2016 at 9:35 a.m. EST. For those of you not attending NAIAS, you’ll be able to catch all of Mercedes’ action here on [TopSpeed.

If you’re unfamiliar, the new E-Class is already understood to be a quantum leap ahead of the last generation car. The new full size luxury->ke505 sedan->ke142 takes after its big brother, the S-Class->ke359 in many ways, not the least of which is an immaculate and stunning interior. Better panel fitment and materials, along with a swooping design inject some much needed class and affluence into the sedan’s accommodations.

The E-Class will receive new powerplants as well, forgoing the current V-6 for a new turbocharged, inline six-cylinder displacing three liters. A new 2.9-liter I-6 turbodiesel will also be offered.
