It’s a hotel, in Beverly Hills.  California.

It’s a Four Seasons hotel, so you know everything will be absolutely top quality.  For example, their dining room, CUT, has cuisine by Wolfgang Puck.  The interior design is by Richard Meier, who designed the Getty Center in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles, the $1.2 billion dollar home of the Getty art museum.  (Even better, the hotel describes CUT as “a contemporary twist on the classic steakhouse.”)

But there is one feature that might really command your attention.

The Beverly Wilshire maintains two “house cars,” which are available to guests who know about them, first come first served.

One is always a Rolls-Royce Phantom.  The other also is usually a Phantom, but sometime either a Mercedes or an Escalade is pressed into service.

No, these aren’t driven by chauffers.

They’re loaned to the guest.

Granted, the guest is expected to stay within three miles of the hotel, but will get you to Rodeo Drive in style.  But, you don’t even have to bring it back to the hotel.  They’ll pick it up.

But, book early – the hotel is popular.  And bring cash, the top level suites cost over $1,000 per day.  The more reasonably priced Executive Suite – which really should do for you, what with the Italian marble bathroom and all – only about $675.  (Those are weekend rates, so your visit could be higher if you insist on a Wednesday.)

If you want the Rolls, it might be a good idea to become best friends with the concierge, too.
