Forza Motorsport 7 is getting a new update today, which adds a range of cool sports cars. The highlight of this update is the Porsche 917/20 race car that wore the weird but iconic "Pink Pig" livery at the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans. The original "Pink Pig" is offered in the game only weeks after the livery made a memorable comeback at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, winning the GT class.

Although it didn't finish the race, the "Pink Pig" became famous thanks to its story and crazy livery. An experimental vehicle, the 917/20 was developed together with French company SERA in an attempt to combine the advantages of both the short and long tail 917. Its body was wider than usual, which meant that the wheels were hidden deep in the housings, while the nose was as flat as the long tail model but shorter.

The livery has an interesting story too. At the time, Porsche was sponsored by Martini, which found the 917/20's looks rather porky. So the team went with a tongue-in-cheek design that depicted a pig butcher chart. The whole car was painted in pink, which made it an instant attraction on the race track. But while it was the fastest car during pre-race qualification, the "Pink Pig" failed to finish the race, crashing out of fifth place after 12 hours. Needless to say, the car caused a sensation and became one of the most iconic versions of the 917.

The "Pink Pig" is joined by a new Top Gear car pack in Forza Motorsport 7. Available for free for Car Pass owners, it includes seven exciting supercars and sports car. The brand-new McLaren 720S joins the game alongside the Ferrari 812 Superfast and the extremely lightweight KTM X-Bow F GT4, Vuhl 05RR, and Exomotive Exocet Sport V8 XP-5. As usual, the game also gets a couple of classic cars, this time around the 1964 Porsche 904 Carrera GTS and the 1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta.

Finally, the cars labeled as "exclusive" will be unlocked and available to purchase to players who reach Car Collector tier. The list includes more than 100 previously exclusive vehicles.
