Last year at Geneva Auto Show, Zagato presented two models that were very appreciated by the public. As a result the Italian automaker decided to produce them in a very limited series. The Diatto GT Ottovu will be limited to only 99 units and will celebrate the rebirth of one of the oldest automotive names.

The Diatto GT Ottovu will be powered by a 4.6 liters V8 engine with an output of 530 hp. The engine will be tuned by Cosworth and Roush, so the output can be increased to 650 hp. The 0 to 60 mph sprint will be made in under 4 seconds and the top speed will go up to 300 km/h.

A very interesting feature of the Diatto GT Ottovu is the chassis which is independent from the body of the car. Even with the body off, the chassis has the same motoring characteristics. The ZAGATO Diatto GT Ottovu chassis is made from forged steel and it was built to withstand twice the forces and tensions created by the engine.
