The SEMA Auto Show->ke216 wouldn't be complete without the presence of Ford's->ke31 resident muscle car, the Mustang->ke428. SEMA without the Mustang is like 4th of July without the barbecue and fireworks; it just can't be celebrated that way.

One Mustang in attendance was presented by DSO Eyewear, a sunglass company that has dived into the auto world in the past.

True to the nature of the event, DSO Eyewear spared the pleasantries and went right down to business, fitting the Mustang GT with a Whipple twin-screw supercharger with its own intercooler. The result is a Mustang GT that carries an improved output of 750 horsepower, a drastic upgrade from the stock model's 420-horsepower capabilities.

Meanwhile, the exterior of the Mustang GT was treated to a BASF RM Onyx HD waterborne Pearl Custom tri-coat white with deep black accents to go with applied custom paintwork from CW Restoration. A body kit was also installed to the muscle car courtesy of 3D Carbon. The kit includes front fender vents, a front air dam, side skirts, a rear window U-trim, and a new grille and hood struts from Classic Design Concepts. Matching the new grille is a custom lower matching grille set from MAD-Industries, Tera LED evolution lighting and Forenza wiper blades from PIAA, a Coverking stretch satin custom car cover, and a new set of enormous 22" MHT Luxury Alloy Niche Monza A440 3-piece wheels wrapped in Pirelli PZero Nero tires.

As for the interior, Katzkin Midnight Tuscany leather seats with perforated raven inserts highlight the program. It's complemented by a leather and Alcantera covered OEM steering wheel and shift knob from DSV Customs, Pearl tri-coat white painted interior accents, a custom rear window sub shelf from MAD-Industries, Tera LED evolution lighting from PIAA, SRP billet aluminum anodized racing pedals, custom floor mats from Lloyd's Mats, and a factory navigation upgrade from Rosen.

Needless to say, that Whipple twin-screw supercharger is the unquestioned star of DSO Eyewear's program for the Mustang GT. For an eyewear company, these guys sure know what they're doing when it comes to dishing out chops in the aftermarket scene.
