Ford F-Series->ke1913 trucks have won a SEMA award in the past four years. That’s no small feat considering the level of competition it usually faces. But the popularity of the F-Series, specifically the F-150, at SEMA is completely legitimate. That’s why Ford, together with Motocross rider and Ford Racing member Brian Deegan, is bringing a heavily personalized 2015 F-150 to the 2014 SEMA Auto Show.->ke216

This particular F-150 goes by the name “Deegan 38”, which is a clear indication of Deegan’s heavy involvement in the project. The full specs surrounding the build have yet to be revealed, but according to Ford,->ke31 Deegan enlisted a ton of industry heavyweights to participate in it.

Without going into detail, the F-150 Deegan 38 features contributions from Addictive Desert Designs, Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels, FOX Racing Shox, KC Hilites, and Mastercraft Safety.

Rockford Fosgate was also heavily involved, as well as Full-Race Motorsports, Leading Edge Tuning, ProEFI, and SCT Performance. Together, all these aftermarket shops had a hand in creating this monstrous F-150 Deegan 38.

Expect more details surrounding the F-150 Deegan 38 to arrive when the 2014 SEMA Auto Show opens its doors on November 4, 2014.

Ford F-150 Deegan 38 By Brian Deegan in detail

If there was anarchy in the streets, wouldn’t you want to be sit safely inside the F-150 Deegan 38? It certainly looks the part of a menacing truck with sinister intentions. It’s heavy in black and comes with graphics and decals prepared by Addictive Desert Designs.

From the looks of things, it also has a line of LED lights, probably from KC Hilites, resting comfortably on the lower part of the front grille. Likewise, the increased ride height suggests that the F-150 is sitting on a reinforced chassis and suspension system, likely through the contributions of Fox Racing Shox and MasterCraft Safety, two aftermarket shops that specialize in off-road suspension.

The F-150 Deegan 38 also comes with a massive engine upgrade. How do I know this? Well, look at the tuning shops that contributed in this build and you’ll notice that most of them specialize in engine tuning and optimization, including Full-Race Motorsports, Leading Edge Tuning, ProEFI and SCT Performance.

Does that mean the F-150’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine that produces a stock 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque now has more power? Neither Ford nor Brian Deegan have confirmed it, but I’m convinced that there’s at least 500 horsepower under the hood of that F-150.
