The 2020 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition is the second pickup truck from the Blue Oval company inspired by the iconic motorcycle brand. The Harley-Davidson Edition returns after eight years as an appearance package, but it also comes with a few chassis updates. The big difference now, except the fact that it's based on the latest F-250, is that it's no longer built by Ford. Instead, the truck is assembled and sold by Tuscany Motor Company.

Marketed as an "Official Harley-Davidson truck," this F-250 features an impressive amount of exclusive features, including a monochromatic paint scheme, loads of "Harley-Davidson" badges and logos, unique wheels, and a bespoke interior. Unlike its predecessor, this Harley-Davidson Edition rides on a special suspension designed by BDS for the motorcycle company. Let's see what it offers.

What makes the Ford F-250 Harley Davidson special

The new Harley-Davidson Edition retains the monochromatic exterior of its predecessor, but it doesn't look as dull as the old model. That's partly because the latest F-250 looks more muscular and has that massive front grille, but it's also because it sports orange accents on the front grille and the front fender badges. This bright color provides a solid contrast with the black, white, or gray paint and reminds of Harley-Davidson's traditional orange logo.

While the regular F-250 features a chrome grille insert, this truck has a dark-tinted piece, as well as a honeycomb mesh. The same grille adorns the front bumper and the engine hood, which also features a functional Ram Air system. The body-painted front bumper also adds to the monochromatic look.

Tuscany Motor Company didn't ignore the F-250's capability and added a few accessories that make off-roading easier, like a couple of tow hooks and a LED light bar integrated into the front bumper.

Onto the sides, everything is painted in the same color, including the fender flares, the running boards, and the front fender vents. The orange "Harley-Davidson" badge on the fenders add a dash of color. The truck also sports "Harley-Davidson" lettering on the front doors and color-matched mirror caps. But by far the most impressive feature here is the wheel design.

Around back, the monochromatic theme continues with a painted bumper and a grey tailgate insert with "Harley-Davidson" lettering. The orange accents on the bespoke, dual billet aluminum exhaust pipes round off the rear fascia. Tuscany offers a few extras for the bed as well, including a Harley-Davidson-branded bed liner and a painted tonneau cover with carpet liner and embossed logo.

The truck is painted Agate Black as standard, but you can opt for a White Platinum exterior. Tuscany also offers Leadfoot gray as a special-order paint.

The black and orange theme continues inside the cabin, where the custom leather seat covers boast orange diamond pattern and embroidered "Harley-Davidson" badges. The same accent color adorns the door panels, dashboard, and steering wheel. The "Harley-Davidson" logo can also be found on the custom carpeted floor mats and the door sills. There's also a numbered console emblem, stainless steel gauges, billet racing pedals, and heavily tinted windows.

If this is the case, it should come with the same 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque on tap, just like the regular F-250. While the 6.2-liter V-8 would be a natural choice given the Harley-Davidson badge, I'm pretty fans wouldn't mind to find the 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 under the hood. This unit is a bit more powerful than the V-8, generating a whopping 450 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of twist. Either way, the transmission is most definitely the new 10-speed automatic.

While there's no drivetrain data, we do know that the truck rides on a bespoke suspension system created by BDS. It also runs on Fox performance shocks with custom tuning. The tire sensors were recalibrated to better work with the new wheels and suspension setup.

This sticker makes it by far the most expensive F-250 in the current lineup. For reference, the range-topping Limited starts from $67,135, while the high-performance F-150 Raptor comes in at $52,885. If you want the truck in White Platinum instead of Agate Black, you'll have to pay an extra $295, which increases pricing to $97,710. Opt for the dark grey Leadfoot color and it will set you back $1,018, increasing the sticker to $98,433.

The Harley-Davidson Edition is by no means cheap, but it also brings loads of exclusive features to the table. But is it worth it? Would you buy one? Let me know in the comments section.
