Even if a 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo SE is considered an old horse when compared to its newer brethren, it's still one of the fastest and most powerful Lamborghinis->ke44 you'll ever find. With a 5.0-liter engine that produces 520 horsepower, the Gallardo->ke375 SE has performances numbers that shouldn't be laughed at, but as far as some customers are concerned, 500 ponies just doesn't cut it anymore. One such owner of a 2006 Gallardo SE apparently isn't too thrilled that his Italian supercar only has 500 horsepower under its hood, so he decided to enlist the services of American tuner, Bradan, to turn his supercar into an 800-horsepower beast.

To make this goal a reality, Bradan is rebuilding the engine while reinforcing it to handle the increased boost pressure that comes with it. On top of that, the US tuner will also design, develop, and build a new turbo system to increase the car's power similar to how an OEM power curve does it.

There's plenty of laborious work and tedious research involved in such a build and there's plenty more work to do before the car is officially ready for its maiden run at the race track. For now, the tuning company has released some photos of the work being done on the car, including a video of the Gallardo SE undergoing a baseline test.

We''ll be sure to update you on any further developments from Bradan.
